Gorman is a small rural town at the base of the Palo Pinto mountain range, rich in agricultural heritage; known in our heyday for being the Peanut Capital of the Southwest. Home of the Gorman Panthers, we bleed red and blue, and love softball and six-man football. You can find us 30 miles west of Stephenville at the intersection of State Highway 6 and Farm-to-Market 8 on the southeast edge of Eastland County. We are a close supportive community working together to revitalize our historic downtown.
